We have special programs to help our military students, whether they complete their degrees online or at one of our 12 campus locations. If you are deployed to a war zone or are at a stateside base far away from a college campus, online study maybe your only option. Special scholarships for military students

  • Military Advantage Scholarship. This scholarship awards a 10% discount on tuition and books to military personnel and their families.
  • Military Service Scholarship. If you were severely injured in Iraq or Afghanistan and are participating in the Department of Defense Severely Injured Joint Operations Center, you (or a family member) may be able to receive a scholarship of up to $5000 depending on your degree program.
  • Purple Heart Scholarship. If you were wounded while serving in the Gulf wars, or if you are a family member of a service member killed in action during these wars, you may be eligible for this scholarship that awards the cost of tuition and fees remaining after all other federal, state and military financial aid have been applied to your tuition bill.
  • Military Active Duty Scholarship. This program is for qualified students who are active duty service members or family members of active duty service members. Recipients of this scholarship will receive an amount equal to the difference between the current tuition per credit charge and $250. Restrictions apply, so consult our military student services staff to learn more.

In addition to helping you complete the applications for these scholarships, our military student services staff can advise you about other sources of financial aid, including your military benefits.
