Recent High School Grads Study Online

Many high school seniors must work right after graduation — their family situations do not allow them to attend conventional colleges. They may need to care for children or family members in poor health. They may need to contribute financially to their households. If this sounds like you, you may still be able to earn a college degree — online.

Why students choose online

At Globe University-Online, we offer a wide range of degrees and diplomas online that make it possible for students to go to school while meeting their other obligations. They can continue to work or take care of their kids and still attend class. They can do homework late at night or early in the morning. They can take classes on the weekends. They can even take some classes online and others at one of our 12 campuses in Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

Programs for high school students

We also have special programs dedicated exclusively to high school students and recent grads that help them pay for college. Some also allow students to jump-start their educations, taking college classes while still in high school — tuition free!

Our scholarship programs just for high school students include the following:

  • High School Advantage program. High school students who enroll in a degree program at Globe University online will be eligible to take up to four courses tuition-free — one course per quarter until beginning their college programs. Students with GPAs of 2.0 or higher are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • President’s Scholarship for graduating seniors. If you have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and apply for admission to Globe University-Online before either January 1 or April 1 of your senior year, you will qualify for a scholarship award of $2000 (if the application is submitted before January 1) or $1000 (if the application is submitted before April 1).
  • Director’s Academic Scholarship for graduating seniors. Depending on your score on the Career Profile Assessment test (CPAt), you can receive a scholarship of up to $5000.
