At Globe University (GU), we offer an online Master of Science in Management (MSM) with three areas of focus. Students with training and experience in one of these areas can earn the degrees they need to advance in their careers.
Focusing on three distinct areas of management
Our three emphasis areas allow students to concentrate their studies in the fields where they are already working. They may select from:
- Master of Science in Management: Health Care Management. Students with bachelor’s degrees in a health care field can build on their training and experience with this emphasis.
- Master of Science in Management: Information Technology. This program was designed for students with bachelor’s degrees in a technology-related field.
- Master of Science in Management: Managerial Leadership. This program is for students with baccalaureate degrees in business or management disciplines.
Advantages of an online degree
Students with unpredictable work schedules or long commutes can earn graduate degrees. In fact, studying online may be the only option for students who live many miles from a college campus or work at demanding jobs. Earning a master’s degree online saves students time and money by reducing their commuting and childcare costs. They can study whenever and wherever they have Internet access.
Application process
Applicants should have bachelor’s degrees in related areas and a minimum of two years of professional experience. They should provide current resumes that document appropriate work experience and two letters of recommendation. They should also submit a typed Student Statement of Purpose that outlines their goals and describes how our program will help them achieve these goals. International students must demonstrate English proficiency through their undergraduate transcripts or test scores. Students can ask our Education Department to evaluate their credentials if they hold different bachelor’s degrees or are unsure about their preparation for this program.
Transfer of credit policy
GU has a generous credit transfer policy. We accept transfer credits for relevant graduate work, job training or military education. In addition, the school awards credit for relevant work experience in the student’s field. Students may satisfy up to 50% of their requirements by transferring credits for prior education or appropriate work experience. Our education department works with students throughout the process for applying for credit. There is no tuition charge or transfer credit fee for evaluating student transcripts.
