Students also complete a five-credit capstone course that can be an externship or a major project. By the time they graduate, they will have had training in effective communication, a mentoring experience, networking opportunities, and the chance to practice their skills in health care settings. They will have an understanding of the health care system and the knowledge to manage their portion of it.
