Requirements for a sales and marketing degree
To earn an ASS degree in sales and marketing, students must complete courses in core areas that include the following topics:
- Accounting
- Business communication
- Business writing
- Computer information systems
- Supervisory management
- Marketing strategy
- Art of selling
- Consumer behavior
- Sales management
- Internet marketing
They also take business electives (8 credits) and general education (30 credits). The program requires 93 credits and students who study full-time can expect to complete their programs in as little as 18 months. Students who receive college credit for prior learning and work experience can complete their degrees in less time.
