Apply online
Our online application is easy and many students complete it by themselves. An equal number call us for assistance and answers to questions that arise while they complete the application. We will provide you with the help you need to get started on your college education.
Requirements for admission
Each program at Globe University-Online has different admission requirements, so it’s important to contact an admissions representative to learn about specific programs. Depending on the program, requirements may include minimum scores on the Accuplacer (a test given on campus) or ACT/SAT tests, or by documentation of a bachelor's of associate degree.
Depending upon test scores or transcripts, students may be required to take mathematics and composition classes after admission.
Credit for prior learning — save time and money
If you have taken college classes before or have worked in a professional or managerial position, you may be able to receive credit for prior learning and work experience. This will reduce the number of classes you need to complete and saves you time and money. Our Education Department evaluates requests for credit in light of the following:
- Whether the credit-awarding institution is similar in quality to Globe University-Online
- Whether the credits are appropriate for your new college program
- Whether the courses or experience are recent enough to be relevant
Financial aid
Paying for college is usually a big challenge for students, whether they take classes online or at one of our 12 Minnesota and upper Midwest locations. Our financial aid counselors work with students to help them identify scholarships, loans and grants. They try to help you overcome the financial obstacles in your path.
What’s next?
After you apply and are accepted into a program, you will complete an online orientation that helps determine your readiness for online learning. You can purchase your books through our online bookstore and confirm availability of your financial aid. And then you’re ready to start your online degree program.
